Outside of Champagne, Bouvet is the most awarded Sparkling Wine House in France, garnering praise from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, Decanter Magazine and others. After many years of ownership by Champagne Taittinger, Bouvet Ladubay is once again fully owned by the Monmousseau family who have continuously run the business since their purchase in 1932. Bouvet Ladubay employs precisely the same wine making process as Grand Marque Champagne, delivering French sophistication at an everyday price.

Without a doubt one of the best value sparklings on the market today.

A blend of Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay that’s aged for a minimum of 18 months on lees. A lacy mousse holds well over a pale straw coloured base that has pale gold tinged edges. Flowing through its core is an exceptionally persistent fine bead. Fresh pear, lime and baked apple scents fill the nostrils trailed by hints of yeast lees and chalky lemon like notes. Vivid pear, citrus and red apple fruits dance across the mouth watering palate underpinned by crisp acidity with delicate yeast lees and chalky sherbet characters lingering through the refreshingly dry finish. Nimble yet airy in its feel it concludes long and deliciously scrumptious.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
