2020 Bortoluzzi Pinot Grigio

Winemaker Giovanni Bortoluzzi uses a variety of clones (French, Italian and German) to produce a richer, weighty style of Pinot Grigio whilst still retaining the varietals signature freshness.
Bright pale straw colour with a watery hue. Fabulously scented the nose offers up pear and red apple fruits over dried honey with some gentle wet stone notes in the background. Intense ripe pear and red apple flavours engulf the mouth with notions of dried honey, subtle dried nuts and wet slate lying underneath. Finishes dry and fresh showing terrific depth with an incredibly persistent and sleek aftertaste.
