2020 Borgofiero Chianti

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals attractive ripe dark cherry scents which meld into dusty vanillin cedar and spicy tobacco notes. Mid weighted with a ripe feel the palate is generously endowed with dark cherry fruits which overlay subtle dark chocolate, spicy vanillin cedar and dusty earth. Fine grained tannins with a juicy medium length aftertaste that has some infusions of dried herbs flowing through it.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
