Best’s Bin 0 Shiraz is produced from the four original Shiraz plantings in the low yielding blocks of the historic Concongella vineyard at Great Western. This includes nineteenth century and mid twentieth century plantings of Shiraz.
Deep dark red black core with a dark red hue. Intense dark plum and liquorice aromas flow through the nostrils followed by vanillin cedar, scorched earth, fennel and peppered meat notes. Rich dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits are layered across the refined mid weighted palate with a gorgeous textural feel. Vanillin cedar, subtle scorched earth and peppered fennel like characters lie underneath. Seamlessly integrated velvet smooth tannins. Concludes long, enveloping and silky.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
Alc. 14%

Other Reviews….
Best's celebrates old vines. Bin O is a case in point, with vines dating back to 1868 employed here to produce a stunning and elegant beauty. Bin O's signature black fruits, woody spice and violets are concentrated and deep, followed by velvety tannins that effortlessly glide over the tongue. Quite a powerful combination. Drink by 2041.
