The Bellingham Estate vineyard is located in Arthur’s Seat adjacent to Main Ridge on one of the highest sites in the Mornington Peninsula. The two and a half acre (1 hectare) vineyard was planted in 1996 exclusively to Pinot Noir. Moorooduc Estate winemaker Richard McIntyre ensures only the very best fruit is selected for inclusion in ‘The Bellingham’.

Perfumed, gorgeously textured and light on its feet yet powerful this has all the traits of great Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir.

Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a light red hue. Blossoming out of the glass with a perfumed like intensity are violet like scents which are complimented by spicy dark cherry, strawberry, subtle rhubarb, dried herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar. The gorgeous, supplely textured palate is layered with very moreish dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb flavours. Notions of dried herbs, forest floor and spicy cedar then chime in across the back half to lend further complexity. Superb peacock’s tail like power wave with velvet smooth tannins. Concludes long and expansive.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
