2020 Alpha Crucis Old Vine Grenache

Sourced from 85 year old bush vines with 10% whole bunch included in the ferment and maturation taking place in third use French oak for 11 months. Bright dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a purple red hue. A fragrant mix of raspberry and dark cherry scents mix with plum, red liquorice, provincial herb and vanillin spice notes. Intensely flavoured the palate is bursting with delicious ripe dark raspberry, cherry and liquorice fruits which overlay subtle vanillin cedar and spicy infusions of fresh herbs. Vibrant finish with polished tannins and a long spicy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
