2019 Zaccagnini Chronicon Montepulciano d’Abruzzo

Deep black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Spicy black and morello cherry aromas intermix with liquorice and scorched earth notes. Fleshy textured morello cherry and liquorice flavours carry medium body weight with some scorched earth and subtle cinnamon spice characters lying underneath. Polished yet sturdy tannin structure with a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
