Other Reviews....
55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, 13% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 9% Malbec. Tasted alongside the 2019 Yeringberg Cabernet Sauvignon and 2020 Te Mata Coleraine. Stiff competition.
Charming, mulchy and autumnal with tobacco, violet and mixed small berry fruit. It’s medium-bodied, red and black fruits, fresh, with gentle chewy paperbark tannin a little tang and bright feel, red fruits and white flower perfume on a brisk finish of fine length. Charming. Classic under-stated Yarra Cabernet. More to come. Drink 2023 - 2039.

Gary Walsh - The Wine Front (November 2021)

55/13/10/10/9% cabernet sauvignon/cabernet franc/merlot/petit verdot/malbec, all up 23 months in oak with 38% new French barriques. This was tasted less than a month after it was bottled and while it's a very fine Yeringberg with its beauty on show, it's reserved and needs time to adjust and settle. Everything is in sync. Lovely aromas of violets, autumn leaves, mulberries and more. The medium-bodied palate is layered with fine, textural tannins, dazzled with fresh acidity and exceptional length. Drink by 2044.
