Fermented in a combination of tank and seasoned French oak and matured on lees for 6 months. Bright straw colour with a watery hue. Herbaceous grassy pear and tropical fruit like scents intermix with asparagus and subtle pencil shavings. Texturally rounded and full on entry, guava and grapefruit flavours are to the fore with some asparagus, pencil shavings and herbaceous grassy characters lying underneath. Finishes dry with crisp acidity and an intensely flavoured aftertaste.
