2019 Weathercraft Beechworth Pinot Noir

Includes 25% whole bunch fruit with maturation taking place in French oak (30% new) for a period of 9 months. Bright dark red core with subtle tinges of black around the edges and a light transparent red hue. Fragrantly scented the nose serves up a bouquet of violets, ripe red cherries and winter strawberries with a smoky dried clove overlay. Earthy forest floor and spicy cedar notes ensue. Light and very supple in its feel the silky textured palate is decorated with clove infused cherry and strawberry fruits. Elements of forest floor and spicy dried herbs linger on the back half. Velvet smooth tannins showing ample power with a deliciously savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
