Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red hue. Nosing reveals black cherry, earth and liquorice scents followed by some spicy leather notes. Juicy dark cherry and blackberry fruits are underpinned by scorched earth, graphite and peppery black olive characters. Finishes with good freshness, a sturdy tannin structure lending some grip to the savoury aftertaste that has a subtle leatheriness to it.
