2019 Tyrrell's Hunter Valley Shiraz

Matured in older, large format French oak casks. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Spicy dark cherry and liquorice aromas have a toasty overlay with earth and pepper notes ensuing. Medium bodied plum and liquorice fruits are intermeshed with toasty oak, earth and spice. Fleshy mid palate feel finishing with a lick of bright acidity. Slightly dryish tannins with a savoury medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
