2019 Turkey Flat Vineyards Rose

Translucent salmon pink colour. Fragrant aromas of peach, raspberries and strawberries blossom from the glass followed by some musk and spice. Beautifully rounded with a supple feel, the palate is decorated with delicious flavours of raspberries, strawberries and infusions of musk over a back drop of some lightly spiced peach nuances. Finishes dry and fresh with lively acidity. Long moreish aftertaste.

Once upon a time, I recall this wine having something of a lurid hot pink colour, now it’s all pale and cool. Anyway, bought a bottle from a shop the other day (it does happen) and really liked it. Now I have an official sample. I still really like it.
Lovely perfume with a bit of funk and spice, quiet red fruit and white peach, soft but sure crisp acidity, gentle chalky and flinty texture, a little savoury and earthy on the finish, and very long and composed. Just so spot on. Drink 2019-2023.
