A blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Petit Verdot aged in older barrels for 12 months. Midnight black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated blackcurrant aromas mix with liquorice, dusty scorched earth, tobacco and spicy cedar notes. Rich red to blackcurrant and mulberry fruits meld into a back drop of earth, tobacco and spicy cedar. Sturdy fine grained tannins with an elegant mid length finish of red fruit and earthy tobacco characters.
