2019 Tim Adams Shiraz

Matured for 24 months in American oak. Magnificent colour density featuring a pitch black heart and an equally deep black dark red hue. Alluring aromas of liquorice, blackberry and black cherry flood the olfactory senses with vanillin oak, choc mint and subtle spicy earth notes also present. Rich, full bodied and bold the palate is dripping with lavish black cherry, liquorice and blackberry fruits, however, the toasty vanillin oak component is a little too dominant on the back half. Earthy black olive and blackpepper characters are also evident. Firm muscular tannins with a stern, grippy finish.
