Other Reviews....
This too is firmly reduced and revealing almost nothing at present. There is fine volume and even a certain tenderness to the delicious medium-bodied flavors that are supple but punchy on the dry, focused and bitter lemon-inflected finish that is sneaky long. Drink 2027+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound

The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Chalumeaux 1er Cru has a refined bouquet of scents of lime flower and dew-dappled Granny Smith apples; a crushed stone scent emerges with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, and quite racy and spicy. Very good depth and persistence on the finish. This gets better as it goes along. Good potential. Drink 2023 - 2038.

Neal Martin - Vinous

Mid lemon and lime, offering a slightly fuller nose than the Matrot Puligny Garenne. The news from Elsa is that the lower part of their plot is doing better than the upper in the heat. Delicious floral perfume, roses even, really attractive. Seamless and more sensual than Garenne, with a really delicious long finish.
