2019 Tar & Roses Sangiovese

Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Fragrant aromas of ripe red cherries and raspberries have a fresh herb and rose petal overlay with hints of spicy earth also present. Juicy ripe cherry and raspberry fruits have a mid weighted feel across the palate with infusions of fresh herbs, light scorched earth and spice ensuing. Bright youthful acidity with some light grip to the tannins. Concludes with a charming aftertaste that’s layered with ripe red fruits and spice.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
