2019 Symphonie de Haut Peyraguey (375ml)
Other Reviews....
The 2019 Symphonie de Haut-Peyraguey has an attractive honeysuckle and yellow plum nose that opens nicely in the glass, just a touch of praline emerging with time. The palate is very pure and viscous, with well-judged acidity. Not amazingly complex, yet harmonious, leading to a vanilla and almond finish. Lovely. Drink 2023-2035.

Aromas of candied lemons, pears, passion fruit, honeysuckle and marmalade with some subtle mineral notes. Medium-bodied with a fresh palate. Elegant and lighter Sauternes. 95% semillon and 5% sauvignon blanc. Drink or hold.

Lemon, lime and tangerine notes with lots of lovely orange aromas too, really orange blossom dominant, so floral, very aromatic. I love the blossom touch - a more perfumed style for sure, quite elegant but with great persistency. Really very pretty and flavourful. Not huge length but great for fans of aromatic sweet wines. Touches of wood spice come in to give nuance on the finish. Really delicious. Drink 2023 - 2034.
