2019 Stefano Lubiana Primavera Pinot Noir
Stefano Lubiana’s Primavera Pinot Noir is mostly wild fermented, de-stemmed and taken off skins early to retain lots of fruit flavour. The grapes are hand picked, hand sorted and fermented with own yeasts and some whole bunches.
Light, supple and delicious, this delightful Tassie Pinot exudes a youthful freshness.
Semi translucent dark red core with black tinged edges and a bright purple red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, rose petals, cherries and ripe strawberries blossom out of the glass with terrific intensity. Some anise, light forest floor, subtle spicy incense and aromatic herbs also chime in. Delicious ripe dark cherry and strawberry fruits show fantastic drive across the supplely textured palate with elements of anise, forest floor, fresh herbs and spicy cedar adding complexity. Beautifully polished tannins and bright acidity with a long detailed finish. Will only become increasingly moreish with bottle age.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
