2019 Seppeltsfield Barossa Mataro

Unoaked. Inky black core with a bright dark purple hue. Pronounced freshly crushed blackberry, dark plum and liquorice aromas jump out of the glass followed by some blueberries, inky earth and spice notes. Rich juicy blackberry, dark plum and liquorice flavours are both opulent and vibrant in their feel with underlying subtle inky earth and spice elements. Ripe, slightly grippy tannins with bright acidity and a long aftertaste full of both freshness and succulence.
