2019 Scorpo Noirien Pinot Noir

Sourced from the Merricks North vineyard, 10% whole clusters were included in the ferment with maturation taking place in concrete tanks and old oak barrels.

Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright red hue. Fragrant scents of violets, dark cherries and strawberries blossom from the glass followed by subtle notions of forest floor, spicy cedar and fresh herbs. Showing plenty of drive are mouthfilling juicy dark cherry and strawberry fruits which oversee a back drop of light forest floor, spicy cedar and infusions of fresh herbs. Slightly dryish finish with vibrant acidity and polished tannins leading into a delicious medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
