2019 Schwarz Wine Co. The Grower GSM

A blend of 52% Grenache, 42% Shiraz and 6% Mataro sourced from 13 grower’s vineyards located in Bethany, Stockwell, Moppa, Marananga, Light Pass & Stonewell. Fermentation included 25% whole bunch fruit with maturation taking place in a combination of small tanks and French oak. Deep dark red black colour with a bright purple red hue. Alluring scents of dark raspberry, plum and liquorice mix with blueberry, hints of vanillin spice and faint peppered earth notes. Showing terrific richness, juicy dark raspberry, liquorice and ripe blueberry fruits have a plush sumptuous feel. Notions of plum, vanillin spice, dried herbs and light earth lie underneath. Finishes with good freshness, silky tannins and a long succulent, super delicious aftertaste.
