2019 Rosily Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured for 16 months in French oak barrels of which 40% were new. Totally opaque midnight black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced ripe blackcurrant and mulberry aromas are married to notions of cigar box and black olive with dusty earth and spicy bay leaf also evident. The medium to full bodied palate shows ample richness and flesh with ripe blackcurrant fruit dominate over a back drop of mulberries, black olive, toasty vanillin cedar, tobacco and spicy dried herbs. Fine grained tannins provide a sturdy structure. Concludes long with a ripe yet refined fruit profile.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
