Matured in French oak barriques, 10% of which were new for 10 months. Semi translucent bright red core with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Aromas of red cherries and a hint of sour cherries intermingle with forest floor, dried meat and fresh herb notes. Savoury red cherry and winter strawberry fruits are intermeshed with forest floor, a subtle meatiness and spice. Finely grained tannins combine with fresh acidity. Savoury medium length finish.
