Matured for 10 months in old large format French oak. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Elevated scents of dark raspberry, red liquorice and dark cherries are trailed by subtle vanillin oak, dusty earth and spice notes. Light in body jube like raspberry and cherry fruits are soft and fleshy in their feel. Delicate dusty vanillin cedar, infusions of fresh herbs and spice sit underneath. Very polished tannins with a juicy yet elegant medium length aftertaste.
