2019 Roaring Meg Pinot Noir

Matured in French oak for 9 months. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a semi translucent bright dark red hue. Perfumed scents of violets, dark cherries and anise drift from the glass followed by hints of clove, forest floor and spicy cedar. Light to mid weight, rich dark cherry and anise flavours are underpinned by earth and spicy cedar. Fleshy mouthfeel with finely grained tannins providing the framework. Good power with a long spicy dark fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
