Matured for 15 months in French oak puncheons of which 25% are new. Semi translucent bright dark red colour with a light crimson hue. Fragrant scents of violets, strawberry and a hint of anise mix with forest floor, meaty characters and spicy fresh herb notes. Light in body, savoury ripe cherry and strawberry fruits are complimented by subtle anise, toasty cedar, forest floor and dried herb characters. Supple mouthfeel and polished tannins finishing with a lick of freshness on the elegant aftertaste.
