2019 Quartz Hill Syrah

Matured for over a year in French oak barrels. Black as night heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Smoky red to dark plum and liquorice aromas are complimented by vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered meat notes. Mid weighted the palate is decorated with rich red to dark plum and liquorice fruits which overlay smoky cedar, dried meat, earth and peppered herb elements. Fine grained tannins with a medium length finish that’s both polished and refined.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
