Fantastic colour, inky black at its heart with a deep dark red black hue. Lifted black cherry and liquorice aromas mix with scorched earth, graphite, subtle dried meats and black pepper. Rich blackberry, liquorice and black cherry fruits engulf the palate underscored by vanillin cedar, scorched earth and black pepper. Lush yet possessing a sturdy underbelly of muscular tannins it finishes long, rich and quite robust.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews….
Provenance makes such good shiraz. This is another excellent release. Ripe and substantial where it needs to be, peppery and spice-laden around the edges. It’s bold with black cherry, almost into kirsch, with red berry notes as highlights. It then turns clovey and a touch leafy/bunchy from there, particularly as it breathes, particularly through the finish. Not a foot is placed wrong at any stage. It does the peppery-but-bold-and-ripe style very well. Drink 2023-2030+
