2019 Principe Corsini Le Corti Chianti Classico

The family behind Villa Le Corti, the Corsini Family, has an amazing history as winemakers that dates back to the 13th century making it one of the oldest Estates in Tuscany. Current custodian of the Corsini Empire is 22nd generation Duccio Corsini.
The 2019 ‘Le Corti’ is a blend of 95% Sangiovese and 5% Colorino with maturation taking place entirely in cement vats for 18 months. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Lifted ripe red currant aromas infused with rose petals are trailed by tobacco, earth and spicy dried herb notes. The spicy medium bodied palate features red currant fruit over an earthy tobacco, dried herb and spice back drop. Bright acidity with slightly rustic tannins and a savoury aftertaste.
