2019 Powell & Son Eden Valley Steinert Riesling

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Intense lime and citrus aromas are intertwined with oily toast like characters, subtle lemon butter and light kerosene notes. The palate is just beginning to show signs of development with lime and lemon flavours overlaying a back drop of kerosene, oily toast like characters, wet steel and a dash of spice. Nicely rounded texturally it finishes dry with crisp acidity and a long flavoursome yet tightly wound aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
