2019 Ponting The Pinnacle Shiraz

Pitch black at its heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Sailing out of the glass are pronounced ripe blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate aromas which are followed by vanillin oak, earthy mocha and spice. Rich and fleshy the full bodied palate is layered with opulent blackberry, liquorice and dark chocolate flavours which overlay toasty vanillin oak and earthy mocha like characters. Velvet smooth tannins with a dash of spice to the long plush finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
