2019 Ponting Close of Play Cabernet Sauvignon

Dense midnight black colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Attractive red currant and mulberry aromas are intermeshed with dusty vanillin cedar, tobacco and subtle spicy mint notes. Medium bodied the palate is generously endowed with ripe blackcurrant and mulberry fruits which meld into cedary tobacco, dried herb and spicy black olive elements. Nicely framed with fine grained tannins it finishes with a refined medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
