Black as night heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Wafting out of the glass are heady scents of dark plum, liquorice and blackberry which are intermeshed with vanillin oak, fennel and spicy mocha. Rich and super plush but not overweight, the full bodied palate is awash with succulent dark plum, blackberry and liquorice fruits. Notions of vanillin cedar, subtle earthy mocha characters and spicy pepper lurk underneath. Excellent concentration and power with silky smooth tannins concluding long and voluptuous.
