Other Reviews....
Matured mostly in large format oak and bottled (by gravity) without fining or filtration.
It’s a beautiful piece of craft. Beautiful fruit, beautiful savoury nuances, finessed tannin, convincing in every way. Black cherries, juicy plums, cloves, peppers and smoked herbs. The flavours hit and then spread. The tannin eggs the spread of flavour on. The finish leaves you satisfied and wanting more as if it’s one and the same. It takes a little while to open up, as most of the best wines do; quality loves air. Or wind, in this case. This is a garden of a wine, fertile, growing, friendly, generous. It makes good company.
