A blend of 70% Semillon and 30% Sauvignon Blanc matured in French oak for 3 months. Brilliant pale straw colour with subtle tinges of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Pungent herbaceous gooseberry scents intermingle with lime, grassy asparagus notes, pencil shavings and spice. The palate has a zippy flavour profile of grassy gooseberries, citrus and herbaceous asparagus like characters over a subtle back drop of pencil shavings and delicate spice. Finishes dry with crunchy acidity and a long elegant aftertaste.
