Bright very pale straw colour with a watery hue. Red apple skin, pear and citrus aromas are trailed by some delicate spice. Light and dry with red apple skin and pear flavours over dried honey, citrus and spice. Well rounded texturally with good freshness on the medium length aftertaste.

If you want to explore the changes in pinot grigio as it ages in bottle (say 3-5 years) this full-flavoured grigio has very good potential. It has gone into bottle with an armoury of pear, stone fruit and lemony acidity. It may have had a brief dalliance with oak, but it's not overt. Drink by 2023.
