2019 Patritti Shiraz

Impenetrable pitch black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Heady ripe blackberry, liquorice and scorched earth scents engulf the nostrils followed by vanillin oak and spicy mocha notes. Rich, dense and heavy the palate is drenched in voluptuously textured blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits which overlay toasty vanillin oak and earthy mocha characters. Spicy finish with sturdy yet velvety tannins and a long earthy mocha laden aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
