2019 Patrick Two Blocks Range Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon

Matured in 40% new and 60% second use hogsheads. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced aromas of ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate mint fill the nostrils trailed by vanillin cedar, earthy mocha and spicy tobacco notes. Rich blackcurrant fruits carry a fleshy texture over mulberry, vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco and mint characters. Amply powered it has a sturdy tannin structure which lends some firmness and muscle to the medium to long deeply fruited finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
