2019 Patrick Piuze Les Forets Chablis Premier Cru
Other Reviews....
Aromas of citrus zest, white flowers, Anjou pear, pastry cream and fresh bread introduce the 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Les Forêts, a medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy wine that's satiny and precise, concluding with a long, saline finish.

The 2019 Chablis Forêts 1er Cru has a generous pineapple and honeysuckle nose, plus just a hint of menthol in the background. The palate is slightly honeyed on the entry with a fine bead of acidity, and lightly spiced with ginger and white pepper toward the engaging finish. Excellent length.

From the lower slopes, which gives more flesh in this cru. A touch of yellow to the colour and rather a powerful bouquet, with a touch of heat. Entirely white fruit though, with very good weight and exceptional length.
