Other Reviews....
A gentle touch of wood sets off elegant, pure and exceptionally fresh aromas of just sliced green apple, citrus confit and discreet floral nuances. There is excellent volume and richness to the bigger and markedly more powerful flavors that brim with both minerality and sappy dry extract on the wonderfully long finish. This is presently very compact and will need time to unwind as well as to develop more depth. Drink 2029+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound

Still in barrel unracked and unfined. Full bright yellow with a little cheerful plump toasty oak. The weight shows first, the Corton-Charlemagne minerals come through behind. A wine, which is brooding and biding its time. Very good acidity, plenty of fruit weight. All is there, with as much power as is desirable before losing balance, and a fine long finish.
