Matured in French oak. Midnight black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced blackcurrant aromas infused with black olive are trailed by some vanillin cedar, tobacco, dusty earth and bay leaf notes. Rich blackcurrant and dark cherry fruits are layered across the mid weighted palate with black olive, subtle cigar box, earth and bay leaf characters lying underneath. Solid tannin structure with a ripe yet refined medium to long conclusion.
