2019 Old Plains Terreno Old Vine Grenache

Matured for 18 months in French oak barriques. Deep dark red black core with a dark red hue. Intense aromatics of dark raspberry, liquorice and black cherries sail out of the glass with scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spice also present. Rich and lush, succulent raspberry, liquorice and black cherry flavours cast a voluptuous feel across the full bodied palate. Elements of toasty vanillin oak and spicy earth lie underneath. Magnificent power and concentration with silky smooth tannins and a long decadent finish. A rich, voluptuously textured Grenache.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
