2019 Old Plains Alluvium Old Vine Cabernet Shiraz

Matured in French oak barriques for 18 months. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Ripe dark plum and Ribena like scents mix with dried herbs, earthy tobacco and subtle spicy vanillin cedar notes. Rich, plump and full the palate is filled with sweetly fruited Ribena like blackcurrant and dark plum flavours over vanillin cedar, earth and spicy tobacco nuances. Soft acidity and velvety tannins with a lush and very ripe aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
