2019 Octtava Pinot Noir

Matured for 10 months in a mix of old and new French oak barriques. Deep black dark red colour with a dark red hue. The nose features elevated dark to black cherry and anise aromas over toasty cedar, dried herb and spicy earth notes. Rich black cherry, anise and black plum fruits show ample intensity with spicy cedar, scorched earth and dried herb characters in the background. Plenty of volume and power here with fine grained tannins and a long fleshy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
