Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up dark plum, blackberry and liquorice aromas followed by toasty vanillin cedar and peppered earth notes. Medium bodied the palate features blackpepper infused flavours of dark plum and liquorice over scorched earth, vanillin cedar and dried herb characters. Structured fine grained tannins with a spicy pepper laced medium length aftertaste.
