Nicolas-Jay was formed by long time friends Jean-Nicolas Méo of renowned Burgundy producer Domaine Meo-Camuzet, and music entrepreneur and Oregon Pinot Noir lover Jay Boberg. Over the years they have both become fond of what Oregon has to offer for Pinot Noir devotees, and at Jay's prompting in 2011 they began a journey that would result in them purchasing the organically farmed estate Bishop Creek vineyard.

Other Reviews....
Lots of minerals and crushed berries with cherries and stones. Flowers, too. Medium body with iodine and orange peel. Stony and tight. Unfined and unfiltered. This needs four or five years to soften. Try after 2024.

Handsomely structured, with detailed blueberry and raspberry flavors that bring in cardamom, clove and underbrush accents. Builds tension toward medium-grained tannins. Drink now through 2030. 288 cases made.
