2019 Nicks Secret TCWR Barossa Shiraz

With a Barossa heritage going back six generations this renown family owned Estate knows a thing or two about producing top notch Shiraz. This offering is one of their icon wines that sells for around $120 but under it’s Nicks Secret guise it can be had at $90.00 off for just $29.99. Only produced in exceptional vintages maturation took place in American oak (40% new) for a period of 18 months with only the best barrels selected for the final blend.

Rich, powerful and possessing a silky, cashmere-like feel, this is a super seductive Barossa Shiraz.

Dense pitch black in colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of dark plum, liquorice, dark chocolate and vanillin oak engulf the nostrils followed by some mocha, earth and spice notes. The rich, voluptuous palate is layered with a thick coating of dark plum, liquorice, blackberry and mocha flavours which are complimented by underlying toasty vanillin oak, earth and spice elements. Boasting outstanding power and opulence, a liquid silk like texture largely conceals the tannins. Concludes long, decadent and velvety.
