2019 Mr Riggs Watervale Riesling

Watervale in the Clare Valley is home to some of Australia’s best’s Rieslings. It’s here that Ben Riggs sources fruit from the Churinga vineyard to produce this zesty lemon lime filled Riesling.

A great expression of a crisp, tangy Watervale Riesling.

Brilliant water like core with greenish tinged edges. Intense aromatics of lemon, lime and orange rind blossom from the glass with trailing talc and flinty mineral notes. Mouth watering lemon and lime flavours race across the palate with underlying orange rind, chalky talc and stony mineral elements leading into a dry tangy finish. Excellent power, fresh crunchy acidity and a long electric aftertaste.
Drink now or cellar 6-8 years.
