2019 Mr Riggs The Gaffer Shiraz

Dense inky black colour with a deep dark red black hue. Swirling out of the glass are aromas of blackberry and liquorice which mix with lightly smoked vanillin cedar, earthy fennel and pepper. Rich and plush yet also solidly built the palate is layered with succulent blackberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits which show great concentration. Lying underneath are nuances of spicy vanillin cedar and subtle earthy fennel characters. Finishes with a burst of blackpepper, velvety yet structural tannins and a long juicy blackpepper infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
